Guest Service Cashier Part Time Evenings/Weekends
About The Position
The Guest Service Specialist welcomes guests, provides helpful service, and helps create clean, safe, and inviting store experiences. The role supports daily convenience-store operations by assisting with purchases, processing transactions, preparing food and beverages, stocking merchandise, maintaining displays and product availability, and keeping store areas clean. Team members follow food safety, workplace safety, and operational standards and contribute to smooth store operations. Training, coaching, and opportunities for career advancement are available. This is a part-time position scheduled for 8 to 29 hours per week. The listed schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with coverage for callouts or vacations. Days and times may vary, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. The position is at 2122 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely use step stools or ladders when stocking merchandise.
- Comfortable working in cooler and freezer environments as low as 0°F.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with friendly, helpful service.
- Assist guests with purchases, answer questions, and recommend products.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and other payment transactions.
- Prepare fresh food and beverages in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
- Stock merchandise, rotate products, and maintain attractive store displays.
- Maintain accurate pricing and product availability.
- Keep the sales floor, restrooms, food service areas, coolers, fuel islands, and parking lot clean and inviting.
- Follow company safety procedures and promptly report safety concerns.
- Work with the team to ensure smooth daily store operations.
- Support additional store responsibilities as business needs require.
