About The Position

Join SJB Hotels Inc. as a Guest Service Agent and be the face of the hotel during evening hours. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with guests, solving problems, and ensuring a fantastic guest experience. As a hotel ambassador, you will manage check-ins and check-outs, handle guest requests, manage reservations, provide local information, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction. You will also assist with daily reports and maintaining common areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors.
• Must be able to clearly and courteously handle guest inquiries and requests.
• Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel) and hotel reservation systems is a plus but not required.
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile, assist with check-in/check-out, and provide information.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Manage bookings, cancellations, and changes while maximizing room occupancy.
• Share knowledge of local attractions, dining options, and special events.
• Ensure guest safety by following all hotel protocols.
• Assist with daily reports, manage inventory, and keep common areas clean and welcoming.
