The Guest Safety Officer is responsible for identifying and removing individuals who are required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility, or who are self-excluded from the gaming floor and gaming activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant sections of the act and regulations. The officer will also assist in transporting money, chips, and tokens, control access to restricted areas, and respond to incidents and accidents. A key part of the role is monitoring customer and team member passage for underage patrons and banned individuals, and maintaining a working knowledge of the CMS system. Additionally, the officer will complete safety inspections, write reports, and ensure the overall safety and security of customers and team members.
