About The Position

The Barback position at The Casino is responsible for assisting bartenders and servers to ensure a positive guest experience. This role involves stocking bar items, managing ice bins, refilling bottles on the Berg System, and replenishing juice at the bars. The Barback also has the authority to issue complimentary services according to the approved Complimentary Matrix. Maintaining cleanliness of bar areas, including mats, coolers, and emptying garbage, as well as mopping floors, is crucial. Additionally, the Barback will move bar supplies from storage to designated bar locations and ensure the proper service of alcohol in compliance with state laws and company policies. Employees may also be assigned to other Food & Beverage positions requiring the same type of license.

Requirements

• Must be able to receive and maintain all required certifications.
• Must complete all necessary company training.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and/or servers in the performance of their duties to ensure a positive experience for our guests.
• Stock bar items, fill ice bins, replace bottles on Berg System, and replenish juice used at bars.
• Authorize and issue complimentary services to patrons in accordance with the approved Complimentary Matrix.
• Maintain all areas clean including bar mats and coolers, empty garbage, and mop floors.
• Move bar supplies from storage areas to the appropriate bar locations.
• Ensure the proper service of alcohol by following the current laws of the state and the policies of the company.
• Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
