About The Position

Are you ready to be the heart and soul of Gettysburg’s top-rated historic inn? Our company manages a portfolio of historic—and truly infamous—properties across the country. Locally, we operate the beautiful Brickhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast, but our broader family of properties includes "real-life haunted houses" like the legendary Lizzie Borden axe murder house. Because we do more than just provide a place to sleep, we are looking for a dynamic hospitality professional to take the reins at the Brickhouse Inn. This role is the nerve center of the property. You will be the ultimate host, the operational problem-solver, and the creative spark that keeps our guests leaving 5-star reviews. If you love a laid-back, fun atmosphere where your innovative ideas can actually come to life, this is your stage.

Requirements

Genuine passion for hospitality.
Logistical chops to keep operations running perfectly and empathy to gracefully resolve any guest or staff issues.
Ability to think outside the box and bring imaginative concepts to life.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must reside in the U.S.
Must be fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

Background in customer service, theater, performance, or entertainment is highly desirable.
Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration among your team.

Responsibilities

Handle reservations, seamlessly check guests in, answer emails, and troubleshoot on the fly.
Guide staff, manage clock-outs, ensuring all daily tasks are spotless, and maintaining a fiercely positive, helpful team environment.
Host the signature daily Champagne Hour and ensure every guest feels like a VIP.
Offer personalized recommendations and coordinate immersive events—like captivating ghost hunts—that leave a lasting impression.
