About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a security officer in Puerto Rico to provide security services across a variety of industries, including factories, retail stores, shopping centers, pharmaceutical companies, and corporate campuses. The role involves customer service, security and protection procedures, site-specific policies, emergency response when applicable, and regular patrols. Work settings and conditions may vary by client site.

The position offers rotating, full-time schedules. The hourly pay is $11.33. Employment is conditional on background screening and, where permitted by law, drug screening. A valid Puerto Rico driver's license is required; licensing requirements may also apply under relevant state or local laws.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be available for rotating schedules and weekly itineraries.
• Be fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English; English is required for bilingual positions.
• Possess customer service skills.
• Have a valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
• Be available for credentialing processes and training.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security and protection procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when applicable.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Receive and direct employees and visitors in reception areas according to facility rules and assigned post orders.
