About The Position

Working under the supervision of the ASP Supervisor, the Guard II is responsible for patrolling the compound, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access, identifying suspicious behavior and enforcing security policies.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
• Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.
• Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
• Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.
• Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
• Excellent observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to notice details and identify potential security risks.

Nice To Haves

• four (4) years knowledge of the Department of Army physical security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for the department
• Control access to the facilities
• Monitor alarm system, patrol facilities
• Interpret and apply ammunition pertinent details
• Responsible for verifying identification of visitors and employees, monitoring entry points, and denying access to unauthorized individuals.
• Perform all other duties as assigned
