About The Position

ASRC Federal Cyber is hiring an Escort/Receptionist to support NSWCDD at the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division in Dahlgren, Virginia. The role performs escort functions and provides customer service, including escorting visitors without clearances within accredited secure spaces at OSS and below. The position is onsite and part-time on call. The schedule is flexible across daytime hours between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.; normal hours are Monday through Friday, but work may include after-hours, weekends, and holidays based on customer requirements. The stated compensation is $19.83 per hour plus a $5.09-per-hour health and welfare bonus. The successful applicant must have an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain an interim Secret clearance, and must obtain and maintain required security clearance or other authorizations within the timeframe required by applicable contracts. Applicants should have 0–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate Microsoft Office skills and effective oral and written communication. The role requires long periods of sitting and standing and the use of steel-toed boots and PPE.

Requirements

Must have an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain an interim Secret clearance; must obtain and maintain required clearance or other authorizations within the timeframe required by applicable contracts.
0–2 years of experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
Must be able to work after hours, weekends, and/or holidays; no exceptions.
Must wear steel-toed boots and PPE equipment.

Responsibilities

Escort visitors without clearances within accredited secure spaces at OSS and below.
When a visitor has a NSWCDD sponsor, notify the point of contact that the visitor is onsite.
Sign visitors into secure spaces and complete all fields in the visitor log.
Maintain visual contact with visitors at all times while they are in the facility.
Escort visitors to the exit at the end of their visit.
Sign visitors out of secure spaces and record their departure time.
Escort construction or other support personnel in construction and work zones, remaining with them and maintaining visual contact while they work in secured spaces.
Provide customer service.
