GTM Strategy and Operations Analyst

Confido•New York, NY
•$100,000 - $150,000•Onsite

About The Position

Confido is building a broad product platform across some of the most complex workflows in CPG. As the product expands, one of our biggest opportunities is making sure we can communicate that value just as effectively as we build it. As a GTM Strategy & Operations Analyst, you’ll work directly alongside our sales and leadership teams to determine how Confido should show up in the market and in our most important deals. You’ll dig into prospects, industries, competitors, customer workflows, and Confido’s product to develop the strategy behind how we sell. Then you’ll turn that strategy into the materials that make it real: executive presentations, product narratives, competitive positioning, business cases, ROI analyses, proposals, and other collateral used throughout the sales process. This is not a traditional sales operations role. You won’t spend your day administering Salesforce or reporting on pipeline. You’ll be an analytical and strategic resource embedded with the GTM organization, helping our team answer the question: What is the strongest possible story we can tell this customer, and how do we prove it? For someone coming from investment banking, consulting, or another analytical environment, this is an opportunity to apply the same rigor to building the go-to-market engine of a rapidly growing technology company.

Requirements

  • 1 - 4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, growth strategy, corporate strategy, or another highly analytical environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand a business, market, or unfamiliar problem.
  • Strong PowerPoint / presentation-building skills and an instinct for turning complex analysis into clear, executive-level communication.
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to distill complicated products or business problems into simple, compelling narratives.
  • High attention to detail and a strong standard for the quality of your work.
  • Comfort working with quantitative information and building analyses around ROI, financial impact, and business performance.
  • Strong commercial judgment and curiosity about why customers buy, how businesses operate, and how technology creates value.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment where priorities change quickly and you may move between strategic analysis and hands-on execution in the same day.
  • Low ego and willingness to do whatever the situation requires — whether that means developing a market strategy, rebuilding an executive presentation, or digging through customer data hours before an important meeting.
  • Interest in AI, enterprise software, CPG, and how technology is changing the way businesses operate.
  • Willingness to work from our NYC headquarters 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Deal strategy and positioning: Partner with Account Executives to understand a prospect’s business, priorities, and existing technology stack, then determine how Confido should position itself to win.

  • Business cases and ROI: Analyze customer workflows, costs, and opportunities to quantify Confido’s potential impact and develop compelling financial cases for change.
  • Product positioning: Develop clear narratives around Confido’s products and capabilities, translating complex functionality into concise business value for different buyers and use cases.
  • Competitive strategy: Research competitors, legacy systems, and alternative approaches to understand where Confido wins and equip the sales team with differentiated positioning.
  • Account research: Develop perspectives on strategic accounts before key meetings, including their business model, organizational priorities, technology landscape, and potential opportunities for Confido.
  • New product commercialization: Work with Product and GTM leadership to determine how new Confido capabilities should be packaged, positioned, and introduced to the market.
  • GTM infrastructure: Build repeatable frameworks, templates, and processes that allow the broader sales organization to execute these strategies at scale.
