About The Position

SecurityScorecard is seeking a GTM Engineer to develop the next generation of systems, automations, and AI-powered workflows for their go-to-market teams. This is a hands-on builder role reporting to the Principal GTM Systems Architect. The GTM Engineer will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Revenue Operations to identify and resolve process bottlenecks, creating practical and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong Salesforce background, solid development skills, experience with object-oriented programming, and a keen interest in AI's impact on GTM operations.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in GTM Engineering, Salesforce, Business Systems, Revenue Operations Systems, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce experience, including Flow, data modeling, permissions, APIs, automation, and production support.
  • Proven development experience and an understanding of object-oriented programming concepts such as classes, inheritance, and modular design.
  • Experience building or configuring solutions with Salesforce Agentforce.
  • Hands-on experience building automations and integrations in Workato and Zapier.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other business systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware.
  • Working knowledge of JSON, REST APIs, authentication, data mapping, and integration troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Apex, Python, JavaScript, or another object-oriented language used to extend low-code platforms.
  • An understanding of how Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other GTM teams operate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguous requirements.
  • Clear communication and documentation skills.
  • A practical mindset focused on business impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, or Slack.
  • Claude Code or another AI-assisted development environment.
  • Model Context Protocol, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, or semantic search.
  • Git, Gearset, Salesforce CLI, Postman, or similar development and release tools.
  • GTM platforms such as Clay, LeanData, Gainsight, ZoomInfo, 6sense, or Clari.
  • Experience with signal-based selling, buyer-intent data, enrichment, opportunity scoring, or propensity modeling.
  • Salesforce certifications related to platform development, Agentforce, or Data Cloud.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and choosing the right approach for the problem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve AI-powered workflows and agents using Salesforce Agentforce.
  • Develop Salesforce solutions using Flow, Apex, custom objects, permissions, APIs, and other platform capabilities.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Build integrations and automations across Salesforce and the GTM stack using Workato and Zapier.
  • Use Claude Code and other AI development tools to prototype, build, test, and troubleshoot solutions.
  • Connect systems and data through APIs, webhooks, middleware, and native integrations.
  • Work directly with GTM teams to understand their processes and turn recurring pain points into technical solutions.
  • Implement enrichment and signal-detection tooling, such as Clay or similar platforms.
  • Design and manage signal-based and buyer-trigger analytics, including opportunity scoring and routing.
  • Develop and manage data models and scoring layers for customer propensity, ICP attribution, and lead and account scoring.
  • Support AI use cases across prospecting, account research, pipeline management, quoting, customer success, support, renewals, and internal knowledge.
  • Test and monitor agents and automations to ensure they are reliable, secure, and working as intended.
  • Troubleshoot issues across Salesforce, Agentforce, integrations, automation logic, permissions, and data.
  • Document and communicate built solutions for maintenance and improvement.
  • Participate in sprint planning, technical design, testing, releases, and post-launch iteration.
  • Measure the impact of solutions on adoption, efficiency, data quality, or business outcomes.
