About The Position

The GSRP Noon Assistant at Dwight Rich helps ensure safe and effective cafeteria operations. The role builds relationships with students during meal times, carries out school lunch procedures, and supports school staff with lunch operations as needed. Noon Assistants are a crucial component of the school team. The position is scheduled for 3.5 hours per day, four days per week, Monday through Thursday. Requirements

• Ability to perform manual tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Wipe and clean tables between meal services.
• Assist students with food trays.
• Provide punctual, reliable, and respectful service to the assigned school.
• Occasionally supervise students independently of other school administrators.
• Interact with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Lansing School District mission.
• Help ensure safe and effective cafeteria operations, carry out school lunch procedures, build relationships with students during meal times, and support school staff with lunch operations as needed.
