Growth Software Engineer
About The Position
Premier Global Links LLC is recruiting on behalf of a confidential, fast-growing AI-powered education technology company that uses innovative AI technology to transform how children learn to read. The role is a hands-on growth engineering position focused on building and scaling the company's growth engineering function. It combines software engineering, product creativity, and business thinking to develop features that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. The position is hybrid and based in the Mission District of San Francisco, California, with three days per week in the office. Base salary is $175,000–$235,000 annually, based on experience.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of full-time professional experience in software engineering or a related technical role.
- Proven experience shipping consumer-facing growth initiatives with measurable results.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and full-stack development capabilities.
- Experience with product analytics and experimentation tools such as SQL, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
- Familiarity with AI systems and development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from idea to launch.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Current U.S. work authorization.
- Ability to work from the San Francisco office three days per week.

- Experience at a high-growth startup, AI company, or consumer technology company.
- Background as a technical founder, founding engineer, or early-stage startup employee.
- Experience with React, Flutter, Python, iOS, or Android.
- Familiarity with Stripe, Segment, Twilio, or SendGrid.
- Experience building product-led growth strategies for consumer applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and launch product-led growth features and scalable acquisition strategies.
- Develop referral programs, onboarding experiences, and user engagement features.
- Design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across web and mobile platforms.
- Run product experiments and analyze results to identify growth opportunities.
- Improve user acquisition, activation, retention, and subscription conversion.
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver measurable results.
- Leverage AI development tools to accelerate product development.
