About The Position

We are looking for a Growth Product Manager to own both sides of Plug's marketplace throughput: the consumer seller funnel that brings cars in (supply), and the dealer auction experience that moves them out (demand). You will report to the SVP of Product and Technology. This is a senior individual contributor role. You will own your surface end-to-end, paired closely with an engineer, operating with high agency. You form a hypothesis, run the test, and come back with a result. You will not wait on a committee or a process. Most of the value you create will come from how fast and how rigorously you learn. You will be stepping into a small, talented team with real momentum and a platform built exclusively for EVs. The funnel is yours to reshape.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, with a track record of owning and measurably improving a conversion funnel.
  • Deep fluency in experimentation: you design tests, own the analysis, and ship decisions fast, with the data to back them.
  • Experience with two-sided marketplaces or high-volume transactional funnels, and a keen eye for user experience.
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of product, marketing, and ML.
  • Hands-on, shipped experience building with AI tools. As part of the process, we will ask you to show us something you have built.
  • Builder mentality: you act, you do not just plan, and you are energized by broad ownership in an environment where roles are fluid and the lines between product, engineering, and design are blurring.
  • Strong communication skills, able to write clearly and influence cross-functionally.
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in automotive, EV, marketplace, or fintech systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the dealer auction experience, including bidding logic, engagement mechanics, and the mobile experience, with a native app build from zero to one.
  • Own the end-to-end consumer seller funnel and quote flow, from landing to completed offer, and continuously grow the number of sellers who request a quote.
  • Design and run A/B tests and post-hoc analysis independently, using session replays, customer discovery, and data, without needing to pull in engineering for every experiment.
  • Build re-engagement strategies for dealers and sellers.
  • Drive programmatic merchandising of cars to dealers based on their historical buying patterns.
  • Partner with marketing on top-of-funnel, remarketing, and segmentation.
  • Partner with the ML team on auto-quote coverage and on optimizing the auto-quote versus manual-quote experience.
  • Own the metrics that matter: seller quote requests and funnel conversion on supply, and number of dealers bidding and bid frequency on demand.
