About The Position

ArtBot, part of Critical Mass, is looking for an exceptional New Business & Growth Lead to join their team in New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a pivotal part of an innovative business within the Omnicom network, operating at the intersection of creative storytelling, technology, and algorithmic media. The position involves redefining how brands create and scale content. As a key partner to the Managing Director, the individual will have significant influence in market positioning, developing growth strategies, and securing new business opportunities with major brands. The role focuses on building the foundational elements for future growth across the US and Canada, including processes, narratives, and materials to foster lasting client partnerships. This is more than a traditional pitch management role; it requires a strategic storyteller, an exceptional organizer, and a growth-minded operator adept at collaboration, building from the ground up, and achieving measurable impact. The position offers high visibility, influence, and the chance to shape the trajectory of a rapidly expanding business.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years' experience in new business, pitch management, strategy, marketing, or a related discipline
  • Strong experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and competing priorities
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into compelling narratives
  • Experience developing proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and client-facing materials
  • An understanding of agency structures, procurement processes, and business development best practices
  • Confidence presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders and clients
  • The ability to create order from ambiguity and build processes where none currently exist

Responsibilities

  • Lead Winning New Business Opportunities: Own the operational and strategic engine behind new business efforts, ensuring opportunities are planned, executed, and positioned for success. Manage active opportunities from brief to submission and presentation. Coordinate cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, technology, account management). Develop compelling RFP responses and pitch narratives. Keep complex projects on track, manage risks, and drive momentum. Partner with UK-based design teams for pitch materials across time zones. Present and lead smaller opportunities independently, supporting the MD on larger pitches.
  • Shape the ArtBot Story: Play a critical role in defining ArtBot's market presence and capabilities communication. Build and maintain a library of credentials, case studies, pitch materials, and proposal content. Create scalable frameworks and templates for efficiency and consistency. Translate complex technology and media capabilities into clear, engaging narratives. Continuously evolve positioning to remain relevant, differentiated, and competitive.
  • Drive Growth Through Organisation & Insight: Provide visibility and structure to the growth pipeline for informed decision-making and prioritization. Maintain oversight of all opportunities in the US and Canada. Track progress, timelines, stakeholders, and next steps across concurrent pursuits. Deliver regular pipeline updates and insights to senior leadership. Support strategic resource planning and opportunity prioritization.
  • Build Industry Knowledge & Relationships: Become deeply embedded in the agency and marketing landscape to strengthen relationships and identify new growth opportunities. Develop expertise in agency holding company structures, procurement processes, and market dynamics. Monitor industry activity, new opportunities, and market developments. Support leadership in preparing for key meetings and strategic relationship-building. Maintain a clear view of key stakeholder relationships across the Omnicom network.
