About The Position

HelloFresh is seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist, Direct Mail to contribute to the growth and performance of their Direct Mail channel across HelloFresh, Chefs Plate, and Factor in Canada. This role requires a data-driven individual who can translate numbers into actionable strategies for growth. The specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Direct Mail acquisition campaigns, from planning and execution to optimization and analysis, aiming to meet volume, CAC, ROI, and efficiency targets. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is key to enhancing channel performance, scaling successful initiatives, and discovering new growth avenues. This position is ideal for someone who is accountable, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to directly impact customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (BBA or BComm preferred).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in growth marketing, offline marketing, direct mail, print media, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or another acquisition-focused role.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including experience managing large data sets, campaign trackers, budgets, and reporting files.
  • An ownership mindset with initiative, follow-through, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort in acquisition and performance marketing metrics (CAC, ROI, payback, conversion, budget tracking, campaign efficiency).
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail in managing targeting files, creative QA, budgets, vendor timelines, and campaign execution.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders outside of Marketing.
  • A collaborative approach with energy, curiosity, and focus.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for HelloFresh’s mission and a hunger to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, optimization, and A/B testing of Direct Mail acquisition campaigns, focusing on CAC, ROI, conversion, volume, and channel efficiency.
  • Manage the end-to-end campaign process, including strategy, audience selection, print production, vendor coordination, deployment, budget tracking, and performance analysis, in collaboration with Analytics, Finance, Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, and Growth teams.
  • Oversee creative development workflows, including briefing, design and copy review, landing page coordination, and ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Contribute to the Direct Mail testing roadmap, focusing on audiences, creative, formats, offers, and timing to improve campaign performance and achieve business goals.
  • Track, analyze, and present campaign performance insights to inform future investment decisions, testing priorities, and channel strategy.
  • Manage external vendor relationships (printers, agencies, data partners) to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective campaign delivery.
  • Utilize AI-first approaches to automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, improve reporting, and focus on high-impact strategic thinking.
  • Handle key operational tasks such as voucher creation, invoicing, cost tracking, campaign QA, and monthly targeting file preparation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, reduction of manual work, and increased efficiency in scaling the Direct Mail channel.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, consumer behavior, and offline marketing best practices to propose new growth ideas.
  • Support ad hoc Growth Marketing initiatives and special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
