Growth Marketing Manager

Rundoo•Redwood City, CA
•$131,000 - $131,000•Onsite

About The Position

Rundoo is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to build and operate its demand-generation engine, converting marketing investment into qualified pipeline and ARR. Based in Redwood City, the role includes regular travel to co-op markets, partner events, and stores across the country. The manager will work with the Head of Marketing to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, including email, website content, social media, third-party coverage, digital advertising, sponsored e-blasts, direct mail, advertorials, and print placements. This hands-on role covers campaign planning and execution, asset creation and distribution, messaging and offer testing, lead nurturing, sales handoffs, and performance measurement through closed-won revenue. The manager will collaborate with Sales and SDRs to improve lead quality and conversion, and with Data Science on campaign targeting, enrichment, attribution, and reporting. They will track spend and results in Salesforce, document playbooks, maintain the campaign calendar, and turn successful experiments into repeatable programs. The role reports to the Head of Marketing. It is described as a prove-it-and-grow opportunity: as repeatable pipeline impact is demonstrated, the scope, budget, team, and level of the role may expand. Compensation is a $131,000 base salary, $150,000 on-target earnings, variable compensation tied to partner-sourced pipeline created through campaigns and partner representatives, and an equity package of 3,801.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in growth marketing, demand generation, or a revenue-owning marketing role, with a demonstrable track record of driving ARR.
  • Experience running multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns and identifying the pipeline and ARR they generated.
  • Experience building branded collateral and running campaigns such as e-blasts, webinars, one-pagers, and magazine placements.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience, including accounts, contacts, campaigns, and pipeline tracking and attribution.
  • Experience working with a sales team to provide account intelligence, such as MQL signals.
  • Comfort with a CRM, spreadsheets, lists, and outreach tooling, and with partnering with a Marketing Engineer on enrichment behind partner-representative data.
  • Ability to work from Redwood City and travel to stores and events as needed.
  • Comfort using AI tools to draft collateral, partner outreach, and enablement material.
  • Ability to build audience-focused campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels and manage execution hands-on.
  • Ability to connect campaign performance to qualified pipeline and closed-won ARR and use conversion data and spend efficiency to recommend improvements.
  • Strong campaign operations skills, including managing briefs, budgets, timelines, teammates, vendors, and follow-up.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Head of Marketing, Sales, SDRs, and Data Science.
  • A test-and-iterate approach to campaign execution, with clear recommendations and the ability to adapt based on results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SMB or owner-operator customers and, ideally, distributor, co-op, or buying-group ecosystems rather than enterprise targeting.
  • Familiarity with paint, hardware, building materials, farm and feed, lawn and garden, or related industries and their media publications.
  • Experience negotiating rate cards, sponsorships, or media placements with trade publications.

Responsibilities

  • Translate marketing priorities, target audiences, and revenue goals into campaign plans, channel mixes, budgets, and timelines, and own day-to-day execution from launch through follow-up.
  • Launch and optimize demand-generation campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, including email, website content, social media, digital ads, sponsored e-blasts, direct mail, advertorials, and print placements.
  • Coordinate third-party coverage and content distribution, aligning each channel with an audience, message, and offer.
  • Create and distribute campaign assets such as emails, landing pages, advertisements, one-pagers, and case studies, coordinating internal teammates and vendors as needed.
  • Test audiences, messaging, offers, creative, and conversion paths; recommend where to scale, refine, or stop spending.
  • Build nurture and follow-up programs and work with Sales and the SDR team on lead handoffs, qualification feedback, and campaign follow-through.
  • Improve lead quality and conversion from initial engagement to sales opportunity.
  • Maintain campaign tracking in Salesforce and collaborate with Data Science on attribution and reporting.
  • Track spend, engagement, qualified pipeline, and closed-won revenue; share results and recommendations with the Head of Marketing.
  • Document campaign playbooks, maintain the campaign calendar, and turn successful tests into repeatable programs.
  • Own the partner and co-op channel and its relationships, as described in the marketing pod division of responsibilities.
  • Travel to stores and events as needed.
