Growth Marketing Associate - Prediction Markets (New York, US)
About The Position
We're hiring a Growth Marketing Associate to drive top-of-funnel for our prediction-markets and crypto-exchange-infrastructure business. You’ll serve as Shift’s prediction-markets industry connector in New York, helping us build relationships, identify market opportunities, and strengthen our presence within the prediction-markets ecosystem. Day to day, you’ll attend relevant NYC events, stay closely connected to industry developments and communities, contribute prediction-market insights and content, and work with our Sales and Partnerships teams to turn relationships and market signals into opportunities. This is an early-career role with a clear path. You’ll help set the standard for how we build our brand as we scale.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of professional experience, or equivalent evidence of meaningful involvement in prediction markets, crypto, trading, growth, content, business development, or related communities. Strong new graduates with relevant projects, networks, or public work are encouraged to apply.
- Default fluency with AI tools as part of how you work. Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, n8n, Zapier, or equivalents. You should be able to show us at least one thing you've built or shipped using these tools.
- A public writing voice. Send us your X, Substack, Reddit, blog, GitHub, or anywhere else you ship. Followers don't matter; voice does.
- Evidence of active industry participation, such as a relevant personal network, event involvement, public writing, social commentary, research, community participation, or a personal project focused on prediction markets, crypto, or trading.
- Real curiosity about prediction markets, crypto, and the future of trading infrastructure. You don't need a finance degree, but you should be able to explain what a prediction market is and why it matters in two sentences.
- Comfort in real rooms. This role involves NYC events.

- Crypto-native. You've used a wallet, you follow CT, and you can explain who our competitors are
- Prior internship or part-time work in marketing, content, BD, or growth.
- You've built and shipped something publicly. An agent, an app, a content series, a newsletter.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Apollo, or similar GTM tooling.
Responsibilities
- Own prediction-market insights, commentary, and content across X, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Own event-driven content in collaboration with Shift’s Content & Social Media Marketer.
- Help ensure Shift’s content reflects current industry conversations, trends, and market developments for both the Shift brand and our prediction-markets vertical.
- Represent Shift at relevant NYC prediction-market, crypto, fintech, and trading events, including meetups, conferences, side events, and industry dinners. Build relationships, identify potential partners and prospects, and bring actionable market intelligence back to the team.
- Build and operate advanced AI-enabled workflows for market intelligence, competitor monitoring, industry research, content ideation, and prospect discovery. You should be comfortable connecting tools and data sources to create repeatable workflows—not just using AI to draft text.
- Run email nurture campaigns through Klaviyo for our prediction-markets lane.
- Source and qualify inbound and outbound leads in collaboration with our sales team.
- Surface prediction market signals from competitor moves, regulatory news, and KOL activity, and translate them into briefs the team can act on.
