This is a role for someone who's hands-on and technical enough to build their own way out of a problem. You've run paid campaigns and own the numbers. You've also built landing pages yourself, written scripts to automate the boring parts of the job, and stitched tools together to get a campaign live without waiting on engineering or design. You'll run growth experiments across every channel that matters. Paid is the biggest line item, but the role covers SEO, lifecycle, organic social, partnerships, and one-off plays worth testing. You read the data, cut what isn't working, and put more behind what is.
