About The Position

Krea is seeking a Growth Engineer to build the product surfaces and systems that help creatives discover, adopt, and pay for Krea. The role is part of the growth team and works closely with the Head of Growth, product engineers, and designers. The engineer owns growth problems end to end, from identifying opportunities in data through shipping experiments and measuring results. This is a hands-on engineering role with product and business ownership. The work primarily uses SvelteKit and TypeScript, with React experience also acceptable, and involves substantial use of event data in ClickHouse and Postgres. Success is measured by activation, conversion, retention, and revenue.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally including work on a growth, monetization, or activation team at a fast-growing consumer or prosumer product.
  • Significant Svelte or React experience; this is not a pure-backend role.
  • Strong quantitative instincts, including comfort writing SQL, designing experiments, and interpreting results.
  • A track record of shipping changes that moved a metric and explaining how and why they did so.
  • Ability to own work end to end, from hypothesis through delivery and measured impact.
  • High ownership and speed; ability to thrive in an ambitious, low-ego culture.
  • Actively uses AI and agents to increase output.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • A strong, well-developed point of view on creative work and product experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with experimentation platforms, feature flags, product analytics, or attribution tooling.
  • Experience with billing and subscription systems such as Stripe.
  • Experience with programmatic SEO or lifecycle marketing infrastructure.
  • A creative background in design, art, architecture, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

  • Build and iterate on signup, onboarding, activation, and upgrade flows to help users reach their first creation faster and remain engaged.
  • Design, ship, and analyze A/B tests across pricing, paywalls, onboarding, and lifecycle touchpoints; build experimentation tools for the team.
  • Own event tracking, attribution, and analytics pipelines using ClickHouse and Postgres to support trusted acquisition, ROAS, and retention metrics.
  • Build programmatic SEO/AEO surfaces, shareable and remixable outputs, referral loops, and integrations to support acquisition.
  • Ship triggered email and in-product messaging, plan and billing improvements, and usage-based nudges to improve conversion and expansion.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and content teams on launches by building landing pages, waitlists, and launch mechanics that can handle traffic spikes.
  • Use AI and agents to develop internal tools and workflows that increase the output of the growth team.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity packages.
  • 100% of employee health insurance premiums covered.
  • 99% of employee dental and vision insurance premiums covered.
  • Health FSA accounts.
  • Long-term disability coverage.
  • Flexible PTO policy.
  • 401(k) with a 4% company-sponsored match.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided in the office.
  • Ubers to and from the office covered.
  • International visa sponsorship may be available, including STEM OPT, OPT, H-1B, O-1, and E-3.
