About The Position
As a Group Underwriter for Life & Health, you will provide expertise and guidance for the development and enforcement of organizational underwriting guidelines, policies and processes. You will apply your knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.
Requirements
- Solid communication skills, verbal and written, in English as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English speaking needs
- 2 to 3 years of insurance experience
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proven collaboration/team player mindset
- Ability to think conceptually and outside the box
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills with a bias towards customer service
Nice To Haves
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Group Underwriter or Group benefits experience
- Bilingual (French)
