About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Group Supervisor at South Florida Youth Academy in Miami, Florida. This role provides safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and creates a supportive atmosphere for their needs. The Group Supervisor ensures staff and students adhere to the facility and daily schedule, and that students participate in all scheduled activities. This position operates assigned shifts effectively and efficiently while maintaining the proper staff to student ratio for coverage according to licensing standards. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma
Internal applicants must possess 1-year Direct Care experience.
Must have completed Initial Qualifications (Tech 22) Training as well as Operations, Treatment and Human Resources Essential Subjects prior to placement in this position.

Responsibilities

Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program.
Provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
Ensures staff and students adheres to the facility and daily schedule.
Ensures that the facility (unit, cottage, house, room, dorm, etc.) is on time for all elements and the students participate in all of the scheduled activities.
Operates assigned shifts effectively and efficiently while maintaining the proper staff to student ratio for coverage according to licensing standards.
