About The Position

Join Our Dynamic Rite of Passage Team as a Group Supervisor at Desert Lily Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, a community rooted in a rich agricultural history and known for cultivating growth both in its fields and in the lives of Youth-by fostering positive change and empowerment. Desert Lily Academy (DLA) is a residential treatment program providing female-specific programming in a normalized, trauma-informed setting that promotes learning, growth and positive change. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a supervisory role
1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Responsibilities

Exercises direct control and direction over subordinate staff such as Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, Night Coach Counselors, transportation, etc. as assigned in the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program.
Participation and authority in decisions involving processes to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees and program delivery.
