About The Position

The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel is seeking a relationship-driven Group Sales Manager to grow group business and elevate the guest experience. Located in Omaha’s Blackstone District, the hotel combines historic charm with modern luxury and provides a distinctive setting for meetings, events, and guest stays. The manager will drive group revenue, develop lasting client relationships, and position the hotel as a leading choice for groups visiting Omaha. The role suits a sales professional who can turn opportunities into business in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

Proven success in sales, preferably in hotel group sales or a related hospitality sales role.
Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
Results-driven mindset and ability to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence presenting to clients and industry partners.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
Ability to analyze sales opportunities, understand market trends, and develop strategies that drive business.
Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Collaborative approach and ability to build strong partnerships across hotel departments.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
