Your impact starts here! The Group Sales Manager drives group sales performance for LionGrove's managed properties. This role generates group room and event revenue, prospects new business, and builds relationships with meeting planners, associations, and corporate accounts. The Group Sales Manager contributes directly to group revenue, market share, and the positioning of LionGrove's managed properties. Through strong sales execution and relationship building, this position grows the group business across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of hotel group sales experience, including leadership.
  • Proven record of achieving group revenue targets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record are required.

  • Multi-property or area sales experience.
  • Established relationships in key group markets.
  • Experience with sales and revenue systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive group sales revenue and performance for LionGrove's managed properties.
  • Develop and execute the group sales plan and forecasts for assigned accounts and segments.
  • Prospect and secure new group business from planners, associations, and corporate accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with planners, associations, and key accounts.
  • Conduct sales calls, site visits, and represent the properties at trade shows.
  • Negotiate group contracts within approved guidelines.
  • Partner with Revenue and Conference Services on pricing, handoff, and event execution.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and grow share.
  • Ensure accurate use of the sales system, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate across the portfolio to cross-sell multiple LionGrove properties.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
