About The Position

The Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating new group accounts and facilitating group visits for Bristol Mountain, Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures, Roseland Waterpark, and Roseland Wake Park. This role may also involve assisting the Marketing & Group Sales Manager, Events Coordinator, and Guest Services Supervisor with marketing, sales, special events, public relations, and customer service efforts across all Bristol Mountain properties.

Requirements

  • Must be active in and passionate about the ski/snow sports industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of market developments, and marketing strategies/practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including ability to handle guest objections and disputes satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for acquiring new clients and group sales opportunities for Bristol Mountain, Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures, Roseland Waterpark, and Roseland Wake Park.
  • Research and identify new group sales leads.
  • Assist the Marketing & Group Sales Manager with the development of Group Sales collateral that relates to group sales initiatives.
  • Document all sales call information in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings (in-person or virtual) as a group sales representative.
  • Meet groups on the day of their arrival when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Guest Services Supervisor any group sales needs and visit information.
  • Ensure that all appropriate departments are informed of the needs of scheduled groups.
