Group Facilitator - CADAC II
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers, and they are currently hiring Group Facilitators for their newest Detox and Residential treatment facility in South Bend, IN. In this role, you will conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to meet each client's challenges and needs. You will also assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools. The position requires consistent collaboration with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress, escalating any significant client concerns to the Clinical Director. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted and ensuring all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
Requirements
- Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
- Strong presence, sound judgement and experience in running groups
- Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred
- Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
