About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states, known for its unrivaled, evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care in addiction treatment. Their programs include detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The company is seeking talented, passionate clinicians to make a real difference in the recovery community. The Group Facilitator role involves conducting group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to meet each client's challenges and needs. This position also assists clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools, and requires consistent collaboration with clinical staff to monitor client challenges and progress. The facilitator is responsible for escalating significant client concerns to the Clinical Director and maintaining thorough documentation of all group sessions, clinical assessments, and individual client charting.
Requirements
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services required
- Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
- Strong presence and sound judgement
- Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles
Nice To Haves
- Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
Responsibilities

- Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
- Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
- Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed
