The Group Facilitator leads structured psycho-educational and process groups for clients enrolled in a substance use treatment program. Groups typically range from 3 to 20 clients. The facilitator brings organization, structure, and creativity to sessions while following the program’s established group format and expectations. This is a hands-on, client-facing role involving relationship-building, accountability to group rules, and creating a setting where clients at different stages of recovery can engage and learn from one another. Individualized notes and group education notes must be entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) within 24 hours of service. The schedule is described as flexible and built around the daily group calendar; the posting also identifies the role as full time and lists shifts as PRN.
