About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Group Facilitator for its Dublin residential facility, which provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The facilitator conducts therapy and psychoeducation groups, supports clients in developing recovery skills, collaborates with clinical staff, escalates significant client concerns, and maintains clinical documentation and charting. The facility is located on 11 acres in the New Hampshire countryside and is staffed by clinicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians.

Requirements

• LADC eligible.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgment.
• Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to clients’ challenges and needs.
• Help clients develop healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
