Clinical Group Facilitator
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Group Facilitator for its Dublin, New Hampshire residential facility, which provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The facilitator conducts group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to clients’ challenges and needs, and helps clients develop healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools. The role collaborates with clinical staff to monitor client progress, escalates significant concerns to the Clinical Director, maintains documentation of group sessions, and ensures clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
Requirements
- Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in the state.
- If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
- Strong presence and sound judgment.
- Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.
Responsibilities
