About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Group Facilitator for its Dublin, New Hampshire residential facility, which provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The facility is set on 11 acres of scenic countryside and is staffed by clinicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians who provide compassionate, dignified care. The role facilitates group-based clinical services and supports clients’ recovery through skill development, collaboration with clinical staff, and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• LADC eligible.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgment.
• Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to clients’ challenges and needs.
• Help clients develop healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
