About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or one year supervised experience in group facilitation with adults required.
Computer literate, competent in Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

Independent license or CADC/CAC preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide client/family education, discharge planning, referral, case management, and follow-up for clients within the Detox/Starlight programs.
Provide communication and feedback to other team members as part of joint treatment planning, UR, and client management.
Provide groups focused on substance abuse education and/or education in an established area of expertise (i.e., health/nutrition for Registered/Licensed Dietician).
Develop curriculum for and provide education components of program based in areas of specialty, client needs, and community history.
Act as spokesperson in relaying UR, insurance, and other administrative information to requesting sources.
Act as a facility liaison to client, family, aftercare agencies, institutions or Clinicians.
Complete all documentation required by State and Accrediting Agencies.
Develop a continuing education and supervision plan with immediate supervisor.
Participate in conferences, meetings, and continuing education programs as appropriate.
