About The Position

Wedgewood Health is seeking a Group Account Supervisor to lead with vision and empathy. This role involves being a strategic partner and mentor, guiding teams to deliver enduring healthcare communications that reflect the company's values of wonder, truth, and unity. The Group Account Supervisor will foster collaboration across disciplines, ensuring that every brand story is grounded in science and elevated by human insight. This position leads account teams, drives strategic initiatives, oversees multiple brands, and serves as a client partner to ensure business growth. A deep involvement in medical advertising execution is required, including hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or medical advertising and a solid understanding of the regulatory environment. The role involves bringing tactics to life, confidently shepherding work through the MLR process, and partnering closely with clients and internal teams, all while maintaining a calm, confident presence that builds trust and keeps work moving forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7–9 years of experience in healthcare advertising
  • Expertise in brand strategy, clinical data, and MLR processes
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Experience managing large teams and complex projects
  • Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and scopes with transparency and accountability
  • Maintain a high degree of fiscal responsibility for the client business and the agency
  • Responsible for forecasts, phasing, and input on resourcing
  • Present a professional and positive image of Wedgewood both internally and externally
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns that exceed client expectations
  • Champion a culture of curiosity, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and technologies
  • Oversee multiple brands or therapeutic areas
  • Guide team in understanding customer engagement strategies
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, translating complex challenges into actionable plans
  • Develop and execute strategic plans in collaboration with clients
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and compliance – ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment
  • Evaluate creative to ensure consistency in messaging, credibility, and alignment with brand positioning
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and resource planning
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth and new business
  • Lead development and participate in delivery of quarterly business reviews (QBR) with clients
  • May manage a direct report. As such, create development plans and deliver annual 360 evaluations for direct reports, conduct weekly 1:1s with direct reports, and provide real-time actionable feedback
  • In-depth understanding of all key brand clinical data, messaging, and strategic imperatives
  • Maintain a constant and consistent surveillance of the therapeutic category, competitors, and market and share relevant information with the internal teams and clients in a timely manner
  • Develop, along with cross-functional team, recommendations and POVs to drive client business
  • Stay informed on healthcare trends and bring fresh perspectives to the team and clients
