About The Position

The VP, Group Account Supervisor (GAS) is the Account team leader for assigned accounts. This role involves establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with clients and the agency, providing continuous strategic oversight for accounts, and ensuring agency business practices and financial standards are met across the territory. The VP, GAS is responsible for driving team performance and development, ensuring quality work execution, achieving client satisfaction, and contributing to agency growth. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of independently executing GAS responsibilities, as well as demonstrating the ability to onboard, train, and coach junior-level team members. This position serves as the senior client business lead, focusing on the management of prioritized and/or high-volume accounts, and requires a demonstrated record of substantial business growth and staff development. Additionally, the VP, GAS must be capable of leading and contributing to new business activities, including RFP responses and presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven track record with years of experience of independent execution of the GAS responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully onboard, train, and coach others in more junior-level roles
  • Proven track record with years of experience in substantial business growth and staff development
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to new business activities including RFP response and presentation
  • At least 8 years of progressive account management experience in medical communications, HCP promotion, or client-side product management
  • At least 3-5 years of experience managing direct reports
  • Experience across multiple products, therapeutic categories, and client companies
  • Bachelor’s degree
