The Harrisburg Juvenile Treatment Center is dedicated to providing at-risk young females with a comprehensive, trauma-responsive program that fosters both personal and academic growth. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direction and supervision to both staff and students.
Directly supervise Coach Counselors and Night Coach Counselors.
Maintain the proper staff to student ratio for coverage.
Make critical and sound decisions during emergencies.
Conduct group intervention crisis sessions.
Inform Unit Managers of concerns.
Act as a role model for staff and students, leading by example and modeling ROP programming.
