About The Position

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment to mow designated areas.
• Water and fertilize turf areas and plants.
• Grade and prepare soil and plant beds, lay sod, plant vegetation, and assist with turf cultivation.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Perform labor duties including string trimming, edging, pruning, top-dressing, hazard maintenance, divot repair, and drainage tasks.
• Assist with irrigation maintenance, including trimming around irrigation heads and valves, repairing PVC pipe, leveling heads, and performing minor electrical tasks.
• Operate mechanical loaders to move soil, debris, and other materials.
• Support the mechanic with lubrication and minor equipment service repairs.
• Provide support for special projects.
• Report golf-course abnormalities, including damage, disease, insects, and debris.
• Support other departments as needed and when opportunities arise.
• Assist with housekeeping duties in the Maintenance facility.
