About The Position

The Groundskeeper is responsible for efficiently maintaining the physical appearance of the grounds, pools, and buildings at Arte Grand Central, an apartment community with 360 units in Miami, Florida. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role includes routine cleaning and maintenance, identifying and promptly correcting unsafe or unclean conditions, and supporting maintenance and community-improvement programs. The Groundskeeper may travel to other Avanti Residential properties to assist sister communities.

Requirements

Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Use power and hand tools effectively and safely when completing maintenance tasks.
Have time-management skills to navigate frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
Work independently with minimal supervision, be accountable for actions, and be self-motivated.
Pass a criminal background screening before employment.
Have a valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation.
Complete the required Wonderlic pre-employment assessment if minimum qualifications are met during resume screening.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of property maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas.
Monitor property conditions and take immediate steps to correct unsafe and unclean conditions.
Assist maintenance in keeping the shop clean and orderly.
Participate in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventive maintenance program.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Community and Service Manager.
Communicate clearly with residents and respond to their service requests and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
