About The Position

The Golf Course Groundskeeper executes daily maintenance and landscaping activities to ensure the upkeep, aesthetic appeal, and playability of our grounds. This role involves working outdoors in a team environment to prep the course before golfers arrive. At Bear Creek Golf Club, we feature two stunning 18-hole championship courses right in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. Requirements

• Must be dependable and available for early morning shifts to beat the Texas heat.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk long distances, and stand for extended periods in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license preferred to safely operate course machinery on-site.

Nice To Haves

• Prior landscaping or golf course maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate walking and riding mowers to cut greens, fairways, tees, and rough areas.
• Change hole cup locations, move tee markers, and empty course trash receptacles daily.
• Rake, edge, weed, and maintain sand traps.
• Perform weed-eating, hedge trimming, tree trimming, hand-watering, and debris clearing.
• Safely operate and clean utility carts, tractors, and specialized turf equipment.
• Assist with basic irrigation fixes, divot filling, and structural project support.
