Groundskeeper - Part-Time
About The Position
A Groundskeeper works with the District Manager and store teams to maintain the upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties in accordance with clean and operational standards. The role includes performing landscaping and maintenance duties across multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. It is an outdoor, labor-intensive position involving tools, hardware, chemicals, and other materials. The schedule is part-time, with three five-hour shifts per week on flexible days, for up to 24 hours per week. Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Groundskeeping or maintenance experience.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in urban and rural environments.
- Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Learn the skills necessary to complete the job.
- Communicate project status and scheduled follow-up dates to the District Manager.
- Maintain facility grounds, including landscaping and parking areas.
- Maintain facility systems, including lights, gates, and security systems.
- Maintain facility structures, including fences and doors.
