About The Position

The Groundskeeper maintains and cares for facility grounds including lawn areas, flower beds, plants, bulbs and flowers, shrubbery and trees. A groundskeeper performs preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment such as utility tractors, garden and lawn equipment, snow plows, chainsaws and all transportation vehicles. Assists with general custodial duties such as washing walls and windows; transports and disposes of solid waste and performs general outside maintenance duties.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in landscaping and groundskeeping
• Basic understanding of general maintenance principles and the basic skills necessary to perform rudimentary maintenance tasks
