Groundskeeper (Porter)
About The Position
We are seeking a groundskeeper for a 230-unit luxury apartment community near major highways and Houston's Galleria. The Groundskeeper is responsible for the general upkeep of the property's grounds and common areas. This role involves working outside and requires attention to detail. The position pays $17.50–$19.00 per hour as an hourly, non-exempt role. Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with work hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekends may be necessary based on property needs. The application process includes criminal background checks and drug screens.
Requirements
- Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
Responsibilities
- Walk the property grounds and common areas.
- Pick up trash and debris.
- Perform minor repair and maintenance duties using tools and cleaning supplies.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Community Manager, Service Supervisor, and/or Assistant Community Manager.
