About The Position

The Tipton Group is hiring a Porter/Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, attractive, and welcoming apartment community for residents, prospective residents, and guests. This hands-on role involves staying active, working outdoors, and contributing to the property team. The position is located in Arlington, Texas, and is scheduled Monday through Friday.

The role supports the property's appearance through cleaning, routine custodial work, light landscaping, and general grounds upkeep. The Porter/Groundskeeper also reports maintenance or safety concerns and assists the maintenance team with general tasks and special projects as needed. Pre-employment screening includes drug testing and a background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Dependable and ready to work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and courteous with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks.
• Able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks.
• Proud of their work and attentive to the appearance of the community.

Nice To Haves

• Some related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property and maintain the overall appearance of the community.
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the grounds.
• Keep sidewalks, parking lots, common areas, and building exteriors clean.
• Perform routine custodial duties around the property.
• Assist with light landscaping and general grounds upkeep.
• Help maintain the leasing office and surrounding areas.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Assist the maintenance team with general tasks and special projects as needed.
• Help create a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
