Grounds Technician - Chateau de Ville
About The Position
Barrett & Stokely is a real estate investment and management firm engaged in multifamily real estate development and management since 1975. Its portfolio includes more than 12,000 multifamily apartment homes in the Midwest, and the company has more than 300 employees. The Grounds Technician maintains the grounds and common areas of the assigned property, including cleaning exterior areas and interior common halls and breezeways, performing daily grounds routines, and clearing snow, trash, and debris. The role also includes general cleaning and sanitation and paint touch-ups as needed. The position is full-time at Chateau de Ville in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a stated starting pay of $16.00 per hour and a day shift.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the grounds of the assigned property.
- Clean exterior areas, interior common halls, breezeways, and building surroundings.
- Perform daily grounds routines.
- Remove or clear snow, trash, and debris daily.
- Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties.
- Perform paint touch-ups as necessary.
- Collect debris around buildings, in breezeways, near amenities and the leasing office, in parking lots, and in other common areas.
