About The Position

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Grounds Technician / Maintenance Technician I to join their team in Clovis, CA. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with at least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience to grow their career while training under an experienced Maintenance Technician. The technician will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the apartment community. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their work, and likes working both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required.
Valid driver's license required.
Enjoy working outdoors and performing hands-on work.
Reliable, self-motivated, and team oriented.
Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within the property management industry.
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of the community.
Pick up trash, remove debris, and keep common areas clean and inviting.
Assist with apartment turns and make-ready units.
Complete basic maintenance repairs and resident service requests.
Perform routine property inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Support preventative maintenance and property improvement projects.
Help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Learn and develop maintenance skills while working alongside an experienced Maintenance Technician.
