About The Position
The purpose of this position is to perform routine grounds maintenance for County parks, facilities and grounds.
Requirements
- Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
- Requires a short demonstration up to and including one month of related experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Responsibilities
- Cut grass with hand tools or power equipment.
- Trims trees and shrubs.
- Assists with unloading of work trucks and delivery trucks and event set-ups.
- Assists with site setup of plant materials, flower bed maintenance, lawn maintenance.
- Ensures that job site staging area is clean and organized.
- Park cleanup and general restroom maintenance.
- Picks up all trash in the area and disposes of it properly.
- Clean and restock restrooms daily.
- Uses all installation tools according to company safety policy.
- Complies with safety policies at all times.
- General repairs and tool maintenance.
- Marks sports fields.
- Performs related work as assigned.
