About The Position

Under the supervision of the Grounds Supervisor and/or Grounds III Personnel, maintain the landscaping of Greencroft. This position is not eligible for benefits and is considered a temporary status, generally 8-9 weeks (mid May to mid August). Duties include: Weeding, mowing, watering, trimming, digging, planting, and other duties as assigned. Interact with other grounds personnel to coordinate the use of, maintenance, and repair of grounds equipment, vehicles, and tools. Operate grounds maintenance power equipment including tractor, mowers, trucks, chipper, stump grinder, fork lift, hedge trimmer, edger, sod cutter, sweeper, rototiller, chain saw, hand power tools. Inspect and verify that equipment is in safe operating condition; maintain grounds areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.

• A willingness to learn is needed.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.
