About The Position

The Highlands is seeking motivated team members for our Grounds Maintenance team. This position is responsible for the overall upkeep and appearance of resort grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. Responsibilities include mowing, landscaping, debris removal, and general grounds care. This is a full-time summer seasonal role with opportunities to transition into winter positions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver’s License required

Nice To Haves

Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience preferred, but not required (training provided)

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools, power equipment, and riding mowers to cut and maintain lawns
Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and structures
Maintain resort landscaping using a variety of tools and equipment
Plant and care for grass, shrubs, and trees
Apply fertilizer and assist with irrigation to promote healthy plant growth
Pick up litter and maintain cleanliness across resort grounds
Sweep walkways and remove debris
Trim shrubs, pull weeds, rake, mulch, and prune as needed
Remove or cut tree limbs that may pose safety hazards
Assist with general grounds projects as assigned
Hydroseeding, laying sod and other aspects of lawn care.
