About The Position

Warwick Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Groomer to provide high-quality grooming services and an exceptional experience for pets and their people. The role involves grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes, performing the full range of grooming services, and contributing to a dedicated, collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday and pays 50% commission.

Warwick Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service small animal practice providing medical, surgical, and dental care. Its team includes four veterinarians and support staff, including technicians, receptionists, kennel assistants, and groomers. The hospital offers in-house diagnostic testing, external laboratory services, a pharmacy, surgical suite, digital x-ray, and monitored hospitalization area, and focuses on pets’ long-term health and building lasting client relationships.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience.
• Strong understanding of breed-specific haircuts.
• Confidence grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Skill in all aspects of grooming, including bathing, brushing, drying, nail trimming or grinding, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
• Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
• Positive and collaborative attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Perform bathing, brushing, drying, nail trimming or grinding, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
• Deliver detail-oriented grooming and a positive experience for pets and their people.
• Work independently while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude as part of the team.
