About The Position

A hunter/jumper barn in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced groom/rider. The role combines daily horse care with riding responsibilities, including hacking and exercising horses. There may be an opportunity to travel to horse shows if interested.

The schedule is six days per week, approximately 8 AM–4 PM, with a lunch break. The position offers starting compensation of $1,100; the pay period is to be confirmed. On-site housing is provided in a private, two-bedroom luxury camper with an outdoor kitchen. The stated start date is November 1.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a hunter/jumper barn is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of feeding, grooming, tacking, and general horse care.
• Comfortable hacking horses.
• Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
