About The Position
The Grocery department at Kowalski's Cub Foods offers a great selection of everyday to specialty items. We strive to bring you a mix of gourmet, organic and natural foods as well as the latest trends, local favorites, and award-winners. Each of our stores tries to incorporate items that the surrounding community is requesting, in effect tailoring what we carry according to the needs of our shoppers. Our Grocery employees are responsible for keeping our department stocked and organized so that customers can easily find the products they are looking for. They also have an interest in product knowledge to educate customers on items they may not know about. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build right relationships with both coworkers and customers to create a welcoming and helpful environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 + years old
- Availability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Availability of 2pm-10pm
- Ability to lift/carry 5 - 70 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to push/pull 5 - 2,000 lbs.
- Comfortability with speaking to customers in an energetic and helpful manner
- Ability to work independently
- Interest in product knowledge
